His work, carried out as part of the ANR Freacs project, involves assessing:

• the potential for improving initialisation procedures for compartmental models of organic matter dynamics (RothC, AMG)
• the respective potential of approaches based on thermal partitioning vs. physical fractionation in this field.

It will also have to extend the developments made to global scales on the basis of data sets collected as part of the CLINORG programme.
