OpenADOM

No need to develop a database, OpenADOM does it for you!

In 2009, an initial information system was designed to manage data from INRA's environmental research observation and experimentation systems. In order to keep pace with technological developments, a second version of this information system was developed from 20XX onwards. These developments led to the creation of OpenADOM, a data management tool designed for researchers and scientists wishing to manage their data efficiently.

The major advance of OpenADOM is its genericity. To define their database, users simply provide a flexible configuration file that allows them to describe their data and validation rules in a clear, structured way. It can therefore be used for any type of data described in the form of tables. From the configuration file, OpenADOM creates the corresponding database and the insertion of datasets can begin.

OpenADOM also provides an interface for importing and exporting data. It also supports internationalisation, enabling users to translate their application into several languages.

In short, OpenADOM offers a powerful and flexible solution for data management, enabling users to create their own information system according to their specific needs, while offering a wide range of data validation and transformation functionalities.
