The Réseau de Mesures de la Qualité des Sols (RMQS) is a system for assessing and monitoring soil quality in France. It is based on the establishment, in mainland France, of a regular monitoring network of 2,200 sites spread evenly across the country in a grid of 16 km squares. This monitoring system is based on measurements and observations at the centre of each grid every 10 to 15 years. The 1st campaign in mainland France ran from 2000 to 2009.

The second measurement campaign began in mainland France in 2016 and will end in 2027. The teams responsible for returning to the sites from the first campaign will need to have descriptive data on these sites in order to see how they have changed.

DonesolNomade is a web application that allows this data to be consulted and entered, even in the field, where Internet connections are sometimes impossible. Development of this application began in 2021, and an initial test version was offered to RMQS partners in March 2023. It went into production in September 2024. In addition to offline management, this application offers the advantage of being able to run on any type of device (smartphone, tablet or computer). DonesolNomade also transfers data collected in the field to the databases of the Soil Information System (SI Sol), which stores RMQS data.
