AnaEE-France infrastructure

Providing a coherent set of services dedicated to experimentation for the study of terrestrial and aquatic continental ecosystems

The AnaEE-France infrastructure was set up in 2012 with funding from the Agence Nationale de la Recherche's "Biology and Health Infrastructure" programme as part of the "Investissements d'Avenir" programme. It is coordinated by the CNRS, INRAE and the University of Grenoble-Alpes. Its aim is to provide a set of services dedicated to experimentation for the study of terrestrial and aquatic continental ecosystems, with the aim of improving understanding of the dynamics and sensitivity of ecosystems to global change.

It provides centralised access to experimental platforms, analysis instruments and modelling platforms to facilitate their use, encourage the emergence of new innovative projects and promote the re-use of data.

It is also the French node for the European AnaEE project, which is part of the European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC) and the European Strategy Forum for Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) roadmap, of which it is a founding member and current project coordinator.
